🎊TENTATIVE AGREEMENTS REACHED!🎊
đź’˛TSIA SALARY INCREASE:
Teachers who meet the state-required TSIA qualifications will receive an equal share of the allocation.
Estimated Increase: Approximately $1,700
Eligible Teachers Must:
âś” Be a full-time classroom teacher (or eligible FEFP-funded Pre-K teacher)
âś” Have at least 10 years of Florida public school teaching experience
âś” Meet all state eligibility requirements
đź’˛COMPENSATION FOR ALL OTHER BARGAINING UNIT MEMBERS:
CTA successfully negotiated an agreement to ensure employees not eligible for TSIA are included!
➡️If Columbia County meets the DOE's projected Weighted FTE:
All remaining bargaining unit members who do not qualify for
TSIA will receive an increase equal to the TSIA increase.
➡️If the final Weighted FTE is different:
CTA and the District will return to the bargaining table to
negotiate compensation based on the final funding available.
🍎THE POWER OF UNION MEMBERSHIP:
Every salary increase, workplace protection, and contract improvement exists because educators have a voice through CTA. When members stand together, we negotiate from a position of strength.
🍎Strong Membership Means:
Stronger contracts
Stronger bargaining power
Greater protection for educators
A stronger voice in workplace decisions
